A little rain isn't going to hamper our fun

On Thursday, July 25th, IFMA Boston held its 11th annual Schmooze Cruise-this year aboard the beautiful Majesty. While guests were promised a beautiful forecast for the day, New England weather had its own ideas and dumped a days' worth of rain. But a little rain never stood between IFMA Boston and fun and there was a great turnout. This year's cruise "directors" were Carolyn Manoukian of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and Shane Savoie of Santander Global Facilities. As part of the festivities they had a DJ and a corn hole tournament on the dance floor. IFMA Boston's Community Projects committee, headed by Tracey Hartford of Windover Construction, conducted a 50/50 raffle on board to benefit Boston Medical Center's The SPARK Center in Mattapan—IFMA Boston's annual charity. We would like to thank all those that donated and would like to congratulate David Burton of db2|Architecture on winning the raffle. The children at The SPARK Center will be very appreciative! The Majesty steered the guests out into the harbor for a 90 minute cruise and then headed back for an 8:00 p.m. arrival. Everyone was overheard enjoying themselves and the new venue, which was perfect for the weather since it was mostly enclosed. We hope you will join us next July for the 12th annual Schmooze Cruise!
