Somerville, MA Bernard Gibbons of ABG Commercial brokered the sale of 337-341 Somerville Ave. in the Union Sq. Arts Overlay District for $4.06 million. The buyers were Somerville Community Corp. in partnership with Boyes-Watson Architects, Scalzi Ventures and Sally Obrien’s Pub. This urban renewal development involves the creative adaptive reuse of a 20,000 s/f warehouse for an open-air European style market place that will be called Bow Market. It will be partnered with a 7,000 s/f anchor high-end restaurant space with upper floor office space and an expansion to the existing Sally Obrien’s Pub, a longtime neighborhood establishment. This project has received recognition is Boston Magazine and other publications for its creativity with its aim towards modest commercial spaces for small maker and arts enterprises.
