Acella Const. to build 45,000 s/f Gold's Gym facility

Acella Construction Corp. has been hired by Gold's Gym to build a new 45,000 s/f facility. Located at 525 Washington St., the gym is to be completed in late 2009. "We're very pleased to be selected by the world's largest full service gym chain for this exciting project," said David Dirubbo, president of Acella Construction. "We're looking forward to working with Gold's Gym, Pando Associates Architects, and the other project members on this exciting project." The new gym will house an Olympic size swimming & splash pool in one section. The center of the building will be two stories and house an indoor track, exercise rooms, juice bar, tanning, physical therapy, and children's activities area. The third section will contain the indoor basketball and racquetball court.
