VMS Software develops, sells and supports the OpenVMS operating system.
The startup company references a pioneering local company of yesteryear on its website when it states that the company seeks "to continue the legendary development prowess and customer-first priorities that are so closely associated with the OpenVMS operating system and its original author, Digital Equipment Corporation."
