Aho of O'Brien Commercial Properties, Inc. represents Vestas in purchase and lease

After an extensive property search, a 113 year old renewable energy giant from Denmark finds a new home. Vestas has been working with wind turbines since the 1st oil crisis in 1970 and has a small R&D facility in Hudson. This week they secured an 8.8 acre industrial site on the Rte. 290 Connector for $1.825 million and leased an adjacent full floor (13,707 s/f) of office space in the new spec building at 100 Crowley Dr., both from industrial real estate developer First Colony Realty Corp. Vestas will be breaking ground shortly on Phase 1 of its U.S. manufacturing headquarters. Jon Deli of First Colony was represented in-house by Stan Gordon in addition to Colliers International. Vestas was represented by Joel Aho of O'Brien Commercial Properties, Inc.
