Akelius acquires 122 apartments in Boston for $49 million

Boston, MA Akelius has acquired 122 apartments in the city. The property, built in 1920, is located within walking distance from Harvard University and with access to public transportation. The sale price was $49 million. Details were not disclosed.

Ralf Spann, of Akelius said, “In and around Boston there are over 100 colleges and universities, of which MIT and Harvard are two of the best in the world. Further, Boston is a beautiful metropolitan city with a lot of history. These factors contribute to population growth. Coupled with good locations of properties the risk for vacancy is therefore very low.”
