Consumer United, who has an existing office in Boston is an auto, home and life insurance company, subleased the space to accommodate their expansion needs. The sub-tenant will be taking occupancy soon.
"The arrangement was a "win-win" for all parties. The sub-landlord was able to accommodate Consumer United's immediate expansion needs while shedding some of their excess space," said Alvarado.
Alvarado, represented the sub-landlord while Jeremy Hood of T3 Advisors represented Consumer United in the deal.
One Research Dr. is a class A, 283,797 s/f office building set within Westborough Business Park. The property is adjacent to Rte. 9 at the center of the prime I-495 West office submarket in suburban Boston.
