Michael Alves, principal broker with Elite Commercial has been selected as 2009 Realtor of the Year by the RI Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors. The board chose Alves for this award based on his outstanding contributions to the board and his leadership in the real estate industry. Alves currently serves as the 2009 president for RI Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors. He also serves on the RI Association of Realtors executive committee and board of directors.

Alves has been an active Realtors for 24 years and specializes in commercial real estate brokerage. In November of 2008, Alves achieved the RCA (Realtors Commercial Alliance) Certification. He is a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus #329, Bristol.
