Amcomm Wireless opens three new stores totaling 7,500 s/f
According to David Kaplan, manager for real estate at Amcomm Wireless, a Verizon Premium Wireless retailer, the company recently opened a 1,600 s/f store at Linear Retail's East Harwich Plaza on Cape Cod. Brad Khurtz from Commercial Realty Advisors in Hyannis brokered the deal for Linear. This location adds to Amcomm's existing Cape Cod stores in Falmouth and Yarmouth.
Amcomm has also just opened a free standing 3,400 s/f store in Lewiston, Me., complementing its nearby Auburn Mall store in Auburn, Me. Michael Alberico from Eastern Retail Properties in Braintree represented Amcomm in this transaction, while Joe Gendron of Gendron Commercial represented the landlord.
Alberico also represented Amcomm in a recently completed lease for a 2,500 s/f store at the Wal-Mart and Hannaford anchored Lunenburg Crossing, a Centro property in Lunenburg. According to Kaplan, the Lunenburg store will be Amcomm's 30th location as it seeks further expansion throughout New England.
