Anderson of Environmental Compliance Services receives Mass. Asbestos Project Monitor license

According to Environmental Compliance Services, Inc. (ECS), Nickolas Anderson has obtained his Mass. Asbestos Project Monitor license.
Anderson is a field technician responsible for performing indoor air quality and building material surveys involving the collection and laboratory submittal of suspect regulated or toxic materials, data reduction and report preparation for survey reports, management plans, abatement designs, and abatement closure documents.
In order to receive his certification, Anderson attended a 40-hour Project Monitor initial course and the 40-hour NIOSH 582 Equivalent course detailing the intricacies of the NIOSH 7400 method for phase contract microscopy analysis of samples collected. With his new certification, Anderson is now lawfully capable of project monitoring activities on any project where asbestos abatement is performed. Responsibilities of an Asbestos Project Monitor include, but are not limited to, daily monitoring of project activity, collection of daily and final air clearance area samples, performance of a final visual inspection to confirm total removal of all asbestos containing materials contained in the scope of work, as well as an overall familiarity with the regulations that govern asbestos abatement and interpretation of their application in the field.
