Monroe, CT Jon Angel, president of Southport-based Angel Commercial LLC, completed the sale of 7.16 acres of commercial land located at 500 Pepper St. The property sold for $525,000 from Alcar Development LLC to Carrubba Inc.

Carrubba specializes in the creation of custom fragrances, flavors, botanical extracts, and natural deodorants for leading manufacturers around the world. Carrubba Inc. plans to build a 48,338 s/f facility on this site for their manufacturing and headquarters.

“It is great to see a Connecticut-based business expand in Connecticut,” said Angel, who represented the seller in this transaction. “The property at 500 Pepper St. in Monroe is just under 20 miles from Carrubba Inc.’s current headquarters in Milford and is easily accessible off Rte. 25.”

The buyer was represented by Coldwell Banker.
