Architectural Paving and Stone and members of BAC receives award

Architectural Paving and Stone of Weymouth and their masonry craftworkers from the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers (BAC) Local 3 MA received a Construction Quality Award for outstanding craftsmanship and commitment to quality in the Wharf District Fountain and Paving for the Central Artery/Tunnel Project.
 "The award recognizes the exceptional quality of stonework and precision lay-out of pavers in the Wharf District Parks.  In particular, the Rings Fountain paver installation and the wave lines at the Harborside Walkway represent some of the finest paving work in the Central Artery/Tunnel Project," said Steve Bolognese, the regional director with Int'l. Masonry Institute, Boston.
The award was presented by the Mass. Turnpike Authority and the Central Artery/Tunnel Project.
