ARCO National partners with DHL Supply Chain to add 27,000 s/f of warehouse space

Bow, NH ARCO National Construction is partnering with DHL Supply Chain to add 27,000 s/f of warehouse space to their facility. The existing 244,000 s/f facility currently stores all of the wine and spirits sold by the New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) at 67 NH Liquor & Wine Outlets and to 6,200 licensees across the state. The added space will enable the NHLC to capitalize on best-selling products and continue providing a wide variety of options for more than 12 million consumers throughout North America.

“DHL Supply Chain has been striving to deliver best-in-class service to the NHLC for over nine years, and we are proud to see that partnership continue to grow. This expansion will allow us to further drive operational storage efficiencies especially during peak while improving our ability to better serve NHLC’s vendors and customers,” said Rick MacDonald, president, retail, DHL Supply Chain.

The team broke ground in November, and the expansion, once complete, will provide DHL Supply Chain with capacity for about 200,000 additional cases. The facility will feature industrial metal panel construction, 40’ clear height, and a metal roof deck with R-20 insulation. It will also include the addition of two dock positions, two forklift charging stations, and a state-of-the-art ESFR fire protection system.

“This state-of-the-art addition will allow the tenant to achieve the increased capacity they need while still maintaining the location benefits of their original facility,” said George Green, principal at ARCO National Construction. “ARCO is proud to add this exciting project to our portfolio of successfully completed projects with DHL in the New England market, as well as nationwide.”

ARCO National Construction and DHL Supply Chain have partnered on over 40 projects together totaling more than 18.4 million s/f throughout the United States, including renovations, expansions, and new construction of distribution, cold storage, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical facilities.
