At the heart of ASM is a belief that our industry is stronger when people are connected

At the heart of ASM is a belief that our industry is stronger when people are connected – not just through projects, but through meaningful relationships. Community is what turns individual businesses into a unified network, fosters collaboration, and creates opportunities that benefit everyone involved. Our upcoming events, the ASM on Tap Vendor Fair & Networking Mixer and the ASM Golf Tournament, are designed with this purpose in mind: bringing people together in ways that make a lasting impact.

We will be hosting ASM on Tap: a Vendor Fair and Networking Mixer on May 21 at Aeronaut Brewing in Somerville. This will be a great opportunity for industry professionals and suppliers to meet up in a casual atmosphere. Registration for this event is now open and details can be found on our website.

Community also means supporting causes that move our industry forward. During the mixer, ASM will host a 50/50 raffle benefiting GRIT (Girls Rising in Trades), an organization dedicated to breaking down barriers for women in construction. Founded by Holly Brookes of Folan Waterproofing and Construction Co., Inc., GRIT represents the power of industry members lifting up the next generation. ASM’s commitment to matching raffle proceeds up to $500 reflects our belief that when we come together with a shared purpose, we can create meaningful change.

Our golf tournament will take place on July 9 at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth. More than a day on the course, the tournament is an opportunity to deepen relationships, expand professional networks, and support ASM member services and scholarships. Whether participating as a golfer or sponsor, attendees become part of a collective effort that strengthens the industry today while investing in its future.

Together, these events highlight what makes ASM’s community so valuable: the connections we build, the causes we support, and the shared commitment to a stronger, more inclusive construction industry. We look forward to bringing our members and partners together – because when our community thrives, so does our industry.
