ASM is planning some exciting programming for the fall

Jim Welch

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and looking forward to a smooth transition to a beautiful fall season. We at ASM were busy the past month with our 28th Annual Golf Tournament, which was held on July 11 at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth. We are also planning some exciting programming for the fall.

A big thank you to all those who participated in our golf tournament. We sold out both courses and raised funds for our scholarship program. We are proud to have distributed $10,000 in scholarships to deserving students, many of whom are children of employees of our member companies.

September is shaping up to be a busy month of programming that will be offered to our members. On September 11, our Young Professional group will be hosting a networking event at Fenway Park for the Red Sox v Baltimore Orioles game. Limited tickets remain. If you aren’t a member of ASM and wish to join us, send us an email mail@associatedsubs.com to learn more.

On September 18, we will offer a Lunch & Learn Webinar entitled “Optimizing your Risk Profile” by Ryan Kalathas at Gallagher. Our webinars are a benefit of membership, and you can learn more about this on our website. If you would like to participate in this webinar or learn about past webinars in our online learning center, contact us to learn more about membership.

Our next installment in our Safety Roundtable series will be held on September 25 in Natick. This event is free and open to all. Registration information for the “Electrical Safety for the Subcontractor” program is on our website.

ASM’s much anticipated GC Showcase will be held on October 24 at Polar Park in Worcester. Registration is now open for this event, as it promises to be an excellent time for ASM members to network with our region’s top general contractors. Whether you are a subcontractor or a general contractor, you should be in attendance. Registration information for GCs and for subcontractors is available on our website. Subcontractor attendees must be members of ASM to attend.

As always, we at ASM are here to help. Please get in touch with us at the ASM offices should you need assistance or have recommendations for future programs.

If you are not a member of ASM and wish to learn more, please visit our website today at www.associatedsubs.com or email us at mail@associatedsubs.com.
