Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services, Inc., a leader in short line and regional freight railroad operations across the United States and abroad, has leased 7,078 s/f of office space at ATCO Properties & Management's Station Place, located at 20 West Ave., for its corporate headquarters.
The company, presently at 66 Field Point Rd. in Greenwich, expects to move into its new facilities in early 2013.
"We're thrilled to welcome this long-standing company to our 20 West Avenue location," said Peter DiCapua, ATCO's chief operating officer. "Fittingly, our offices are located directly across the street from the Darien Train Station."
Bob Gillon, president of the Signature Group, represented the landlord, ATCO Properties & Management, in the seven-year transaction, while Ned Burns, senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis, represented the tenant.
