Avison Young signs 6,000 s/f to Gengras Motor Cars in East Hartford

East Hartford, CT Avison Young has completed a 6,000 s/f office lease on behalf of tenant Gengras Motor Cars LLC at 225 Pitkin St.

Avison Young principal Andrew Filler represented Gengras and CBRE acted for the landlord. The owner of the property, Meadow Street Associates, LLC., will remain as a tenant in the building along with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

“This transaction provides the landlord with a stable long-term tenant and enables Gengras Motors to expand into larger, more modern space in a strategic location that is easily accessible,” said Filler.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m

Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
