Backus of Backus Real Estate named to board of New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors
Jed Backus, Backus Real Estate, LLCNew Haven, CT Jed Backus has been appointed to the board of directors for The New Haven Middlesex Association of Realtors (NHMR) for a 1-year term and the commercial liaison.
Backus is the owner of Backus Real Estate, LLC, located on Whitney Ave. in Hamden. He has been a real estate broker for over 12 years and his company provides commercial and investment brokerage services. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut, and served as the 2015 chairman of the Association’s Commercial and Investment Division.
“Jed will be a dynamic addition to our board of directors,” said NHMR CEO Dawn Calvo. “Directors are nominated by fellow board members and voted on by our general membership. His nomination and approval are a testament to his professionalism, knowledge and the respect he has gained throughout the real estate community.”
