Barriero joins Jones Lang LaSalle property management team as regional director

According to Jones Lang LaSalle, Brian Barriero, RPA joins the firm's property management team as regional director. Barriero will oversee property management services throughout New England and focus on new business opportunities with investor clients across all commercial property types. Barriero has over 20 years of real estate management experience throughout the northeast. Most recently he was vice president, director of management services with Grubb & Ellis Management Services, Inc. In that role he was responsible for business development, and profitability of management services for the local office. Previously he served as portfolio manager with Broadway Real Estate Services with overall responsibility for the firm's 4 million s/f Boston portfolio which included assets such as the John Hancock Tower, Bay Colony Corporate Center and 200 State St. Before that he was vice president with Beacon Capital Partners Management where he was responsible for the overall operation of the 3 million s/f John Hancock Tower complex, and director of real estate with Seaport Asset Management where he oversaw Boston's Seaport Place complex. Barriero holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Bryant University. He is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Massachusetts.
