Kennedy/Jenks Consultants has added Tiffany Capobianco, project manager, and Melissa Beauchemin, senior scientist, to its staff.
Capobianco has over 15 years of experience conducting hazardous waste site assessments and remediation for transportation, municipal, and industrial projects. She manages sites from the investigation phase through remedial phases, to regulatory closure. Additionally, Capobianco performs environmental due diligence activities for real estate transactions in the northeastern U.S. and conducts preliminary and comprehensive response actions under the Mass. Contingency Plan (MCP) regulations. Capobianco is skilled at obtaining permits from local, state, and federal agencies and with numerous sites that have long, complicated histories. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Beauchemin joins Kennedy/Jenks as a senior scientist with 15 years of experience as an environmental scientist, specializing in marine/aquatic ecology, toxicology, sediment quality evaluations, and ecological risk assessments. She provides technical support and leads teams in the interpretation of data, preparation, and review of ecological evaluations. In addition, Beauchemin has provided environmental assessments according to state and federal guidance for many sites with a variety of legacy chemical constituents and unique challenges. She presents her work at national and local conferences and is currently supporting a range of local and national environmental projects for clients in the transportation, chemical, and pulp and paper market sectors. Beauchemin graduated from Stonehill College with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Mass.
