Bergin of Pearce/George J. Smith brokers sale and lease in Milford
John Bergin, senior commercial broker, with Pearce/George J. Smith is the sole broker in the sale and lease of Nello's La Contina restaurant located at 248 New Haven Ave. The buyer is Adis II, LLC of Bridgeport.
Nello's, a well-known Italian restaurant in the Milford area, has been operated by Nello Piscelli for the past twenty-seven years. The buyer has been in the restaurant business for the past twenty years, also operating an Italian restaurant.
The buyer has signed a long-term lease with the landlord, Gulf Plaza, LLC, and will make substantial improvements to the restaurant.

Goldberg of Spire Investments purchases Beverly portfolio for $9.2m
Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.
