Blackwood joins Pearce Real Estate as associate

Izabela Blackwood

New Haven, CT Izabela Blackwood has joined Pearce Real Estate as a residential sales associate and a member of the Edgehill Team in the New Haven office.

“We are delighted to have Izabela Blackwood join the Pearce family,” said Nanette Pastore, president at Pearce. “She has a wealth of knowledge with her 28 years of real estate experience. Izabela is also fluent in Polish, Russian, German and some Ukrainian. Izabela cited the intelligent, friendly and high-quality service Pearce is recognized for along with very supportive leadership as reasons she chose our firm.”

A long-time resident of New Haven, currently living in North Branford, throughout an active academic career in Slavic and cultural studies, Blackwood has maintained a keen interest in real estate. “I am fascinated by the individual histories of the houses we inhabit, and by the potential of adapting them to the needs of our modern lives,” said Blackwood. As an avid hiker and biker, she appreciates the perfect blend of urban design and nature that New Haven and the surrounding areas offer thanks to, among others, the landmark East and West Rock formations. Blackwood lived and spent time in numerous cities, in many countries, but has always felt truly at home here, in Connecticut.
