Blakely of TRB & Associates brokers $3.075 million sale of 677 Worcester Street
Not too long after exclusively representing the owner and procuring the buyer in the $4 million sale of 721 Worcester St., TRB & Associates has brokered the sale of 677 Worcester St. (Rte. 9) for $3.075 million. The 9,500 s/f retail building (formerly home to Boston Organ & Piano, established and incorporated in Massachusetts in 1957) is a prime location on the Westbound side of Rte. 9.
Thomas Blakely, CCIM and president of TRB & Associates, Inc., based in Lincoln, Mass., procured and represented the buyer, 677 Worcester Street Trust in the transaction. Ria K. McNamara, Inc., represented the seller.
"TRB & Associates, Inc., is extremely pleased to have procured and represented the buyer in this transaction. It is always a pleasure to provide commercial real estate brokerage services to clients and to successfully represent such nice, qualified people," said Blakely.
Beverly, MA Jay Goldberg, president and owner of Spire Investments has completed the purchase of four multifamily buildings. The 33-unit purchase amounted to a sale price of $9.2 million or $278,788 per unit. The properties are all located in downtown and consist of one- and two-bedroom units.

Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
