Priceline.com Inc., a leading travel service for value-conscious leisure travelers, has committed to a 69,882 s/f headquarters lease at River Park, a 412,000 s/f trophy property located at 800 Connecticut Ave. David Block and Michael Siegel of CB Richard Ellis' Stamford office negotiated the long-term lease transaction on behalf of the building ownership, Carter & Associates A/A/F River Park Property Ownership LLC.
"After an exhaustive market search for office space throughout Fairfield County, Priceline.com has inked one of the region's largest new leases in 2010," Block stated.
Widely considered one of the market's most high-profile office properties, River Park boasts an impressive atrium lobby, full-service cafeteria, state-of-the-art fitness center, conference facilities, a putting green and WiFi connectivity.
"The fact that a tenant of Priceline's pedigree was retained in this challenging economic environment, where a number of alternative relocation opportunities exist, speaks volumes about the quality of the building, the strength of ownership and Carter's excellent asset management team," said Block.
Priceline.com was represented by Paul Kauffman of Cushman & Wakefield in the lease negotiations.
