Blount named associate vice president at Cassidy Turley

According to Cassidy Turley, Markell Blount will join the firm as an associate vice president specializing in tenant and landlord representation in the Cambridge market. Blount comes to Cassidy Turley from Sparta Consulting, where he worked as a client partner. In his role, he will be responsible for new business development and providing brokerage services to clients in the life science and technology sectors. "With more than 15 years of business development and management consulting experience, Markell understands how to build lasting relationships with clients," said Joe Fallon, managing partner at Cassidy Turley. "His leadership will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow our life science and technology sector practices." Prior to Sparta Consulting, Markell accumulated business development and management consulting experience at numerous consulting firms in the Greater Boston area. He was also a four-year letter winner for the Boston College football team. "I am eager to be a part of the accomplished team at Cassidy Turley," said Blount. "I am looking forward to providing leadership to the corporate team and continuing to offer excellent client service to all of Cassidy Turley's clients." Blount received his bachelor of science in sociology from Boston College in 1998.
