BOMA Boston names 2015 Board of Directors and coming events

The Building Owners and Managers Association of Boston-BOMA Boston (a division of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board) - has named their board of directors for 2015. June Cunniff of A.W. Perry, Inc. will serve as the 2015 BOMA president, Mike Gill of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston will serve as the 2015 president-elect and James DerMinasian of Taurus Management Services will serve as the 2015 secretary. BOMA Boston also welcomes 5 new members onto their board of directors: * Heidi Cerullo, JLL; * Samantha DeMagistris, LEED AP O+M, SFP, United Services of America; * Jennie DeStefano, Jamestown; * Tom Gallo, ABM Onsite Services; and * Kathryn White, AlliedBarton Security Services. On Monday, January 12, BOMA Boston members will enjoy a day on the slopes in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire for the 2nd Annual BOMA Ski Trip. This full day of skiing will include an all-day lift ticket, use of Waterville Valley's private space, continental breakfast and buffet lunch. The day will conclude with a networking reception. Roundtrip transportation is included. Annual Boma Benefit BOMA Boston will be holding their Annual BOMA Benefit on Saturday, March 14, at the Seaport Hotel from 7-11 p.m. The 2015 Beneficiaries are: Cardinal Cushing Centers; Cradles to Crayons; Father Bill's & MainSpring and Heading Home. The benefit will also raise money and donations for The BINA Farm Center and Jackson's Pitch. Now in its 26th year, the BOMA Benefit is an annual fundraiser that raises money on behalf of local charities whose missions are aligned with providing affordable housing, housing solutions and education benefiting the community or individuals of Greater Boston as a whole. Since 1989, BOMA Boston has raised over $1 million for local charitable causes, including Homes for our Troops, City Year Boston, Habitat for Humanity, My Brother's Keeper, Home Start, Rosie's Place and many more.
