BOMA Boston unveils two new programs for 2014 - Ski trip at Waterville Valley and Networking Nite

Despite a chilly beginning to 2014, BOMA Boston has been off to a hot start, introducing two new networking programs for the BOMA Boston community. On January 14, BOMA Boston's emerging professionals committee hosted a ski trip at Waterville Valley Ski Resort in NH. The all-day event, sponsored by BELFOR Property Restoration, brought together all types of members from the BOMA Boston community, and was a great success. BOMA Boston also held the first event of their new "Networking Nite" series on January 28 at The Kinsale in downtown. The offering was introduced to give members of the BOMA Boston community another forum for coming together to network and generate leads in an informal setting. In addition to some these new programs in 2014, BOMA Boston is also pleased to announce that they will be hosting the BOMA Middle-Atlantic Conference (MAC), to be held at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel from March 30 to April 1. The annual conference brings together real estate professionals from the 16 BOMA locals that have a combined membership of over 3,500. This is the first time that Boston has hosted the MAC since 2003. The 2014 Conference will include an opening night reception at the Top of the Hub Restaurant and Skywalk, and keynote presentations by Roger Berkowitz, president and CEO of Legal Seafoods, and John Fish, president and CEO of Suffolk Construction. The agenda also features an industry update from a panel of prominent leaders from the regions and an emergency preparedness panel focused on outdoor event readiness. The highly anticipated Regional TOBY Awards Dinner will wrap up the conference on Tuesday evening, April 1. Regional TOBY winners will move on to international competition at BOMA International's annual conference this summer. Regional TOBY winners will be announced soon.
