BOMA Boston Update: Springfest, roundtable, tech tour and save the dates

Boston, MA BOMA Boston’s Annual Benefit, which supports our charitable partner, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, was held on April 7th at City Winery. They surpassed their fundraising goal and raised over $40,000 for Bridge! Thank you to all the sponsors, especially their Platinum Sponsor, C&W Services, attendees, those who purchased a raffle ticket, and those who donated a raffle item. They couldn’t have done it without you!

Following the benefit is our next signature event, Springfest. Connect with over 300 commercial real estate professionals on May 19th at Bostonia Public House from 5:30-7:30pm. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and networking. BOMA Boston industry members attend for free and industry non-members pay $75. The BOMA Programs & Education Committee is hosting a Roundtable: What 2022 Looks Like for the CRE Market on May 17th from Noon – 1:30 p.m. at Rockhill Management. Learn about this year’s market trends, opportunities and challenges that CRE professionals and owners face as we welcome back tenants and look forward to attracting new ones. BOMA Members can register for free online. Non-member’s registration fee is $40.

On May 26th, BOMA Boston is hosting a Tech Tour: Cannistraro Fabrication Facility at Black Falcon Pier. “The Fid” as it’s called which stands for (F)abrication, (I)ndustry, (D)esign is a 160,000 s/f manufacturing facility, which is equivalent to four acres. The building was originally built for the U.S Navy as a metal fabrication shop and ship repair facility in 1941 to support the efforts of WWII. A complete renovation of the facility was finished in June of 2018. BOMA Members can register for free online. Non-member’s registration fee is $30.

BOMA’s partnership with BOMI International remains strong. Through educational offerings, BOMA members and non-members learn from senior professionals in the commercial real estate industry to work towards earning their RPA or FMA designations.
