Portland, ME Cheri Bonawitz, CCIM, of Malone Commercial Brokers has been named the 2024 Realtor of the Year by the Maine Commercial Association of Realtors (MCAR).

This award recognizes Bonawitz’s contributions to the commercial real estate industry, her leadership roles, and her commitment to community service. She has been a broker since 2007 and with Malone since 2018. She is known for her expertise in business brokerage and diverse commercial transactions. Her high-profile deals include the $2.5 million sale of VIP Tour & Charter Bus Co. and a $1.2 million Wells motel property transaction.

As Maine Commercial Association of Realtors’ president-elect and the incoming New England CCIM chapter president, Bonawitz continues to shape the industry. Her dedication extends beyond real estate, serving on the board of directors for USA Hockey.
