Well-known Boston cabinet factory leads the future of high-tech manufacturing

Dedham, MA Rosario Cabinets, a Boston-based business for nearly 50 years, is ushering in a new era with the reopening of its fully automated Dedham facility. Equipped with the latest machinery, the factory combines cutting-edge technology with local skills. It produces premium frameless cabinets, creates skilled jobs, and supports the region’s growing demand for high-quality housing.

The reopening reflects a broader U.S. trend: as political and economic factors encourage companies to bring production back home, Rosario is part of the growing trend of high-tech, locally based manufacturing in Boston and beyond.

“This is more than just a factory reopening—it’s a commitment to keeping skilled manufacturing alive in Massachusetts,” said Ben Rosen, president & CEO at Rosario Cabinets. “We’re proud to contribute to the local economy while creating products that New England homeowners, property managers, and builders can trust.”

The renovated facility, which represents a $5 million investment, enables production of up to 150 cabinets per day, with a growing team of 10–15 skilled professionals working alongside advanced automation. Local hiring efforts have already brought several new jobs to the Dedham community, and the company is exploring partnerships with area vocational programs to train the next generation of cabinetmakers.

While Rosario Cabinets sources materials globally to meet performance, availability, and cost goals, the company prioritizes U.S. suppliers whenever viable and remains mindful of tariffs, supply chain fluctuations, and other global economic factors to ensure the best value for customers.
