Boston Global Investors celebrates topping off at 10 World Trade

Boston, MA Boston Global Investors (BGI) celebrated a significant milestone in the construction of 10 World Trade, hosting a topping off event for the innovative development in the Seaport district. The event marked the completion of the building’s structure, highlighting a momentous step in the project’s journey toward delivering cutting-edge, sustainable, and human-centered design to the city.

The project stands as a testament to inclusivity, with more minority and female-owned participation than any other project in the city, with a comprehensive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) program. As owners and developers in the project, BGI’s MWBE partners at Cogsville Capital Group and Bastion Companies have overseen the project’s goals for MWBE Participation throughout each phase of the project, from design and construction to financing and operations. 10 World Trade exemplifies BGI’s commitment to fostering diverse and equitable opportunities within the community.

10 World Trade, a new 555,250 s/f 17-story lab/research and development building offering class A office space, has been under construction since March 2022. The new development is set to empower, connect, and inspire those who are shaping the future by leading the way in health, wellness, and environmentally sustainable, human-centered design.

“BGI is proud to celebrate the topping off of this transformative project, which embodies our commitment to pioneering sustainable and inclusive real estate developments,” said John Hynes, vice president. “10 World Trade exemplifies our commitment to innovation, diversity, and creating spaces that inspire and connect communities.”

The building has already achieved a SITES Pre-Certification and is targeting LEED Gold. Additionally, it is the East Coast’s first Double Platinum WiredScore and SmartScore certified building, reinforcing its commitment to digital connectivity. From energy-saving building features to VIEW Smart Windows and a rooftop solar field, 10 World Trade sets new standards in eco-friendly design.
