Bowdoin celebrates grand opening of 57,000 s/f Big Y World Class Market

Bowdoin Construction recently celebrated the Grand Opening of the new, 57,000 s/f Big Y World Class Market. The official cake cutting ceremony was hosted by Big Y leadership, and featured many speeches from Franklin's public officials. The project, designed by Pepin Associates, includes precast concrete wall panels, a white reflective TPO roof system, and a complete build-out for this new supermarket. Several features of the store include an International Food Court, an eat in café area, and a supervised in-store play area for kids. Additionally, the store utilizes many sustainable and energy-efficient amenities including low flow bathroom fixtures, as well as Coulomb auto-charging stations in the parking lot to enable customers to recharge electric vehicles. The charging stations were installed by Nashville based Green Power Technology.
