Bozzuto launches leasing at 249-unit Emblem 125 building

Providence, RI Bozzuto has begun leasing at Emblem 125, a new, residential building in the city’s historic Jewelry District, also known as the Innovation & Design District. The 256,789 s/f building brings 249 upscale apartments, 13,672 s/f of amenities space, and 19,398 s/f of ground-floor retail to the neighborhood. Emblem 125 is already seeing interest from potential residents, the majority of whom plan to move from out of state, a growing trend fueled by the city’s ongoing revitalization.

Designed by Torti Gallas + Partners, Shawmut Design and Construction broke ground on Emblem 125 in October 2020. Resident move-ins begin this September.

The city has made a tremendous effort in the last few years to invest in its downtown experience through a comprehensive planning process that is already showing a great deal of success. As a result, in the last six months the local population has seen incredible growth, with a large percentage of new residents coming directly from Greater Boston. Emblem 125 fills a need in the area for more high-end residential space, enabling the type of lifestyle that today’s residents are looking for.

Designed by Torti Gallas + Partners, Emblem 125’s contemporary facade features a seamless blend of traditional and modern styles and textures. The building’s interior and amenities spaces were brought to life by ZDS – the design team behind Providence’s iconic Beatrice Hotel and its anchor restaurant, The Bellini, a world-renowned fine-dining destination. The team selected a palette of rich, neutral colors and high-end furniture pieces to create luxurious environments for residents throughout the building that exude comfort and serenity.

 Setting a new standard for luxury living in Providence, Emblem 125’s comprehensive suite of amenities includes:

• A grand lobby with expansive two-story ceilings, multiple seating areas, elegant décor, and original artwork curated by ArtLifting, a nonprofit championing artists impacted by housing insecurity and/or disabilities;
