Rick Shoyer, president of BCONE, said “We are thrilled to bring this event to Connecticut, where there is a great record of Brownfield successes through their strong state programs. This year’s NSCW will bring together representatives from all related industries and government programs throughout the northeast with common values and goals for economic improvements, and preserving and enhancing these programs for the next generation of professionals. Attendees will have access to experts in multiple Brownfield-related disciplines through presentations and networking sessions. It will be a great event this year centered on our keynote speaker, commissioner Katie Dykes of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environment Protection.”

Representatives from federal, state and local government agencies will attend and present. Experts from private companies including Realtors, real estate developers, lenders, attorneys, insurers, engineers, environmental consultants contractors and other sectors that support Brownfield projects will be present.

Attendees can expect to get information about available Brownfield opportunities, financial analysis and incentives, risk management, environmental due diligence, property condition assessments, permitting and compliance, energy and sustainability, climate considerations, and other relevant topics.
