Bulfinch’s Shoss named to Boston Real Estate Times’ Top 10 Outstanding Women of 2019 list

Boston, MA According to The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. (Bulfinch), its vice president and director of marketing, Kate Shoss, was named to the Boston Real Estate Times’ Top 10 Outstanding Women of 2019 list. The honor recognizes influential women who play a “major role in Boston’s real estate market.”

“Kate is an extraordinary leader, and she is an integral part of the Bulfinch Team,” said Eric Schlager, CEO of Bulfinch. “Kate has done an exceptional job of enhancing the Bulfinch brand and raising the public’s awareness of our portfolio. We’re very happy that Kate is getting the recognition and praise she has rightly earned.”

At Bulfinch, Shoss is responsible for leading the company’s marketing and communications efforts for its $3 billion in real estate assets. She spearheaded Bulfinch’s corporate rebranding efforts earlier this year. Shoss has also been instrumental in helping other women advance in the commercial real estate industry, partaking in various organizations including ULI’s Women Leadership Initiative, where she sits on the council.

“I am honored to be named one of Boston Real Estate Times’ Top 10 Outstanding Women of 2019,” Shoss said. “It is a privilege to be included in such an accomplished group of women. Female leadership continues to grow in the CRE industry but there is still room for improvement. I am proud to play a part in contributing to the advancement and visibility of women leaders in our industry.”

Shoss and the other nine award winners were honored during a special banquet on November 5.
