Burrell promoted to vice president, commercial lending at Ocean Capital

Jarred Burrell

Warwick, RI Jarred Burrell has been promoted to vice president, commercial lending for Ocean Capital, the commercial lending division of Home Loan Investment Bank. In this new role, he oversees all aspects of loan origination, loan servicing and collections. Burrell joined Ocean Capital in 2011 as a loan analyst. 

Over the years he moved through the organization, with promotions to portfolio analyst, credit analyst/underwriter, and most recently, commercial lending manager. 

“Jarred is a rising star at Home Loan,” said Brian Murphy, chairman and CEO. “From the start, his business acumen, work ethic and passion for the business have been factors in Ocean Capital’s success. I’m confident that he is the right person to run our commercial lending business, and I look forward to seeing the division grow under his leadership.”

A resident of Warwick, R.I., Burrell graduated from Springfield College with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. In 2014 he earned Certified Commercial Loan Officer designation from the ICBA Commercial Lending Institute.
