Christopher Dittrich

Middletown, CT C.E. Floyd Company PBC, has promoted Christopher Dittrich to senior vice president of preconstruction in the company’s Connecticut office. He will lead preconstruction planning and business development efforts, ensuring clients benefit from C.E. Floyd’s commitment to delivering their vision from the earliest stages of every project.

Dittrich will serve alongside Jeff Palmer, who continues to lead the Connecticut office as president of CT Operations, as the company expands its next generation of leadership.

“I’m excited to welcome Christopher Dittrich to the leadership team in our Connecticut office,” said Chris Floyd, president and CEO of C.E. Floyd Company. “He brings a passion and vision for excellent client service that creates a positive impact on every project and strengthens the partnerships we build with our clients.”

Dittrich joined C.E. Floyd in 2021 as preconstruction manager.

A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, his career began as an estimator with Gar-San Corp., followed by project management and senior project management roles at Erland Construction and The S/L/A/M Collaborative.

At C.E. Floyd, Dittrich has already made significant contributions, most notably during the preconstruction phase of The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts’ new headquarters, where his proactive supply chain insights and redesign recommendations helped secure financing and kept construction on track.

“I am honored to take on this new leadership role,” said Dittrich. “Preconstruction is where we set the foundation for every client relationship and project success. I look forward to continuing to grow our partnerships and deliver solutions that bring our clients’ visions to life.”

As C.E. Floyd Company approaches its 20th year in Connecticut, the firm is celebrating the impact its next generation of leadership is already having on clients and communities throughout New England.
