Cardullo’s Gourmet Shoppe to open at The Street Chestnut Hill

Chestnut Hill, MA Cardullo’s Gourmet Shoppe, the Cambridge-based specialty grocer known for curated international foods, fine wines, and handcrafted deli fare, will open its first-ever suburban location at The Street Chestnut Hill early next year. Building on the success of its Seaport location, which opened in 2018, this expansion marks an exciting new chapter for the beloved brand as it brings its signature experience beyond the city for the first time.

At The Street, Cardullo’s will offer an all-day culinary experience; from freshly brewed specialty coffee and warm breakfast sandwiches in the morning to signature deli sandwiches, gourmet salads, and charcuterie in the afternoon and evening. Guests can rely on Cardullo’s as an all-day destination, whether stopping by for a quick bite before work, grabbing lunch in between shopping, finding the perfect bottle of wine for a special dinner, or an impromptu gathering on the weekend. The shop will feature a full-service deli, as well as thoughtfully curated grab-and-go options and picnic-ready provisions, designed for convenience without sacrificing quality. More than just a new location, Cardullo’s brings a distinctive culinary perspective to The Street, enhancing the destination’s growing mix of food and beverage offerings with a concept that blends exceptional flavor, hospitality, and a globally minded product selection.

“We’re honored to bring Cardullo’s to The Street for our first suburban location,” said Babu Koganti, president of Flying Lion Hospitality and co-owner of Cardullo’s Gourmet Shoppe. “This expansion allows us to reach a broader audience while staying true to what’s made Cardullo’s beloved for over 70 years: exceptional taste, authentic service, and a sense of discovery. We’re here to be part of everyday moments and special occasions.”

The new shop will offer a mix of fine wines, craft beers, artisanal cheeses, European chocolates, pantry essentials, and signature deli fare, all selected with the same quality-first mindset that defines Cardullo’s brand. Guests can shop the store’s curated selection or grab a bite to go, then enjoy their meals outdoors on The Street’s signature green or take advantage of new seating located in The Passage, offering relaxed spaces to unwind between shopping, strolling, or meeting up with friends.

“Cardullo’s Gourmet Shoppe is a fantastic addition to The Street Chestnut Hill, enhancing what makes this destination so special,” said Alana Stein, director, asset strategy & experience, The Street Chestnut Hill. “With its deep commitment to quality and culinary creativity, Cardullo’s brings another layer of discovery and enjoyment for our guests. Whether stopping by for a bite or picking up something special, it’s the perfect complement to a visit to The Street.”

Cardullo’s will be located at The Street Chestnut Hill; 55 Boylston St.
