Carey & Co. and Longfellow Invest. Mgmt. sign leases with A.W. Perry

On behalf of privately owned real estate firm A.W. Perry, Inc., CB Richard Ellis/New England brokered two new leases totaling 12,000 s/f at 20 Winthrop Sq., a five-story, 30,000 s/f office building located in the city's Financial District. Carey & Co., P.C. a multi-service forensic accounting firm, will occupy 6,000 s/f on the building's entire 4th floor, while Longfellow Investment Management Co., an independent investment firm, will occupy 6,000 s/f on the building's entire 3rd floor. Facilitating the transactions were CB Richard Ellis, Jones Lang LaSalle and Cresa Partners. The CBRE team of Jon Freni, associate, Bill Crean, senior vice president/partner, and Tim Lyne, executive vice president/partner, represented the ownership in the transactions. Carey & Co. was represented by Richard Schuhwerk, vice president, and Jason Cameron, assistant vice president, of Jones Lang LaSalle. Longfellow Investment Management Co. was represented by James Topper, principal at Cresa Partners. 20 Winthrop Sq. is located at the intersection of Franklin St. and Devonshire St. in the city's Financial District. Built in 1873 and renovated in 1984, the building features a prominent address just minutes from Downtown Crossing, Post Office Sq. and South Station. 20 Winthrop Sq. also features on-site management and easy access to public transportation and numerous amenities.
