Caritas Communities appoints Meneely director of development communications

Amy Meneely

Braintree, MA Caritas Communities, a non-profit provider of low-income housing and services with a mission to prevent homelessness, has promoted Amy Meneely of Wayland, Mass. to run its fundraising and communication’s department as director of development communications.

Meneely brings 25 years of experience in fundraising and communications, including the last five years at Caritas Communities. She has experience in corporate sponsorship, grants management, event planning, donor relations, and communications.

Meneely held previous positions at Minuteman Senior Services, the Cambridge School of Weston, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Ithaca College and an MBA in Arts Administration from Binghamton University.

“We are fortunate to have a team member step into this role who has the skills and experience required, as well as the passion for the mission that Amy has,” said Karin Cassel Mitterando, executive director. “Amy is committed to improving the lives of our residents.”
