Carlson of Colliers International earns SIOR designation

Margaret Carlson, chief operating officer of Colliers International at 50 Milk St. has recently earned her SIOR designation as an Executive Designee and has become the newest member of the New England Chapter. The New England Chapter and its board of directors welcome her aboard and congratulate her for earning and being recognized as one of the premier office/industrial real estate professionals in the United States. Colliers International Property Consultants USA, Inc. is the U.S. arm of a global real estate organization of over 247 offices in 50 countries throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia Pacific. She was appointed COO in April 1999.
In her role as COO, Carlson oversees national marketing and research efforts, manages financial, HR and administrative functions, and is responsible for implementing the strategic initiatives of the president and the board of directors. Carlson works on national strategic alliances to deliver the best services to Colliers' clients.
Prior to joining Colliers, Carlson was a principal and director of client services at PG Calc, a national software company dedicated to the philanthropic community. Carlson has several years of experience in the real estate industry as an asset manager for a major institutional investment firm and for local Boston area developers.
Carlson holds a BA and MBA from Duke University. Again, congratulations on earning the most elite office/industrial designation in the industry!
