According to Signature Group, a full service commercial real estate firm, Andrew Carney has joined the company as a vice president. Carney has more than 15 years of experience representing tenants as well as landlords in both lease and sales transactions. He has been particularly successful in locating hard-to-find properties for tenants, landlords and developers in Fairfield and Westchester Counties and throughout the Hudson Valley.
Prior to joining Signature Group, Carney held executive positions with brokerage firms including, most recently, Grub & Ellis as a director in its Stamford office. Earlier in his career he served as head of the leasing division for The Alliance Group, a regional developer, and also represented user groups in build-to-suit projects and redevelopments. Carney has been the leasing agent for a number of premier locations including the Danbury Corporate Center in Danbury, one of Connecticut's largest commercial properties.
