CB Richard Ellis represents GE Asset Management in 160,000 s/f lease

GE Asset Management, a division of General Electric Company, a global infrastructure, finance and media company, has signed a long-term lease for 160,000 s/f of office space at 1600 Summer St. GE Asset Management will serve as the anchor tenant at the 260,000 s/f office complex and will occupy three full-floors plus a portion of the first floor of the property, which is owned by an affiliate of Benenson Capital Partners, LLC.
Richard Kessler, chief operating officer, and Gary Sedoruk, managing director of Benenson Capital, one of the nation's oldest and most active privately-held real estate investment and development companies, represented the ownership in this complicated transaction.
Sean Cahill, senior vice president, Robert Caruso, senior managing director, and Susanne Dengenis, vice president of CB Richard Ellis' Stamford office represented GE Asset Management in the multifaceted lease negotiations.
1600 Summer St. is located in the heart of Stamford and is accessible from I-95 and the Merritt Pkwy. The property is within a short walk to top restaurants, hotels and retail in Stamford.
