CBC NRT and Mountain Development lease 100,000 s/f at 500 Bic Drive

Chris O'Hara, SVP of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT Incorporated represented Subway in leasing 100,000 s/f of warehouse space at 500 Bic Dr. The new facility will be used for Subway's distribution operations. 500 Bic Dr. is a 625,000 s/f facility that accommodates the needs of warehouse, manufacturing and office tenants. Joe Coci, managing director of Connecticut properties of Mountain Development, represented the landlord. With the completion of this transaction, the complex is 94% leased with 35,000 s/f remaining. O'Hara also represented Bic Pen and Mountain Development in the purchase of the property in 2006. Other tenant's include Bic Pen, Sikorsky Aircraft and Milford Fabricating. The warehouse will be occupied by Franchisee Shipping Center Company, LLC, of the SUBWAY franchise. The SUBWAY brand is the world's largest submarine sandwich chain with more than 34,000 locations around the world and a leading choice for people seeking quick, nutritious meals that the whole family can enjoy.
