November 30, 2011 - Owners Developers & Managers
CBRE/New England | Development & Project Management Services (CBRE | DPM) is a full-service real estate development division within one of the largest commercial real estate company in New England. The new development and owners representation division enhances the existing project management platform with a broad spectrum of services related to project design, planning, construction cost analysis, development, redevelopment, and repositioning of real estate assets.
The CBRE | DPM service offering is a truly full-service model. The enhanced platform offers clients seamless project delivery services where the client can use CBRE | DPM for strategic planning and programming, capital markets, construction management, procurement, move management, brokerage and property management.
The business unit is built on the concept that value is best defined by perfect alignment of clients' goals and expectations. CBRE | DPM embodies this concept by "controlling the process" through its proactive planning approach.
"Every project starts with an effective plan and our clients' goals are the most critical aspect of any successful project. CBRE builds a successful project on the foundation blocks of design, cost and schedule by first understanding its clients' objectives," said Mark Clayton, executive managing director and leader of the CBRE | DPM services group.
Clayton joined CBRE in 2011 after 25 years at the Trammell Crow Company, a subsidiary of CBRE, where he ran their New England Development Services division. Mark was involved in over 6.5 million s/f of new commercial, hospitality and institutional development, and most recently managed the pre-construction of a 60,000 s/f medical facility in Warwick, Rhode Island. Another new member of the team is Ford Gurall, a development manager who in the past three years has delivered five major hospitality projects in the New England region and worked for one of the region's premier contractors. The platform is enhanced by an existing team of eight highly qualified senior project managers.
