Stamford, CT A class A trophy property located at 680 Washington Blvd., part of the Stamford Towers complex that CBRE serves as exclusive leasing and managing agent, was recognized with the Southern CT Building Owners and Managers Association’s (BOMA) coveted Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award at an Awards Dinner & Casino Night gala held on October 5 at the Wee Burn Beach Club in Norwalk.
The property at 680 Washington Blvd. is an 11-story, 133,499 s/f, class A multi-tenant office building. Stamford Towers is owned by CBRE Investment Management and includes such amenities as an extensive fitness center, bike share program, a full multi-media conference center, a full-time concierge, auto-detail facility, and EV charging stations, along with a tenant outdoor area that includes seating and various games, including a Bocce ball court.
The TOBYs are the commercial real estate industry’s highest recognition honoring excellence in commercial building leasing, management and operations in specific categories of building size or type. In addition to the TOBY award, CBRE’s Lisa Iannelli-Winkler was honored as Property Manager of the Year and Burt Hicks was named Building Engineer of the Year.

The BOMA competition consists of three levels of judging. The first level of competition is held at the local level by BOMA associations. Winning local entries such as 680 Washington can advance to the regional level in each of the eight North American regions of BOMA International. Regional winners advance to the international level.
