Guilford, CT The Connecticut CCIM Chapter of CCIM Institute was recognized for excellence at this year’s CCIM Institute Midyear Governance Meetings. The annual CCIM Institute Chapter of Excellence award honors CCIM chapters that have demonstrated skill, ingenuity, and innovation in promoting the membership benefits of the Institute at the local and regional levels throughout the year.
“The Chapter of Excellence award is an important recognition for our Chapter,” said 2021 president Augustus Ryer. “It tells our members and leadership that their work was valued and that the Chapter remains strong even through an unprecedented year.”
While the Connecticut Chapter was only able to host one in-person event in 2020, it continued to offer digital programming. The Chapter hosted a well-attended webinar with CohnReznick about the CARES Act.
“With so many frequent changes to the interpretation of programs like PPP, it was vital to give members access to professionals who could speak authoritatively on the subject,” Ryer said.
“We hope the event provided members and guests with guidance for their own businesses as well as that of their clients.”
The Chapter also hosted online classes related to demographics analysis, prospecting, and the presentation tools provided by the Institute.
CCIM Institute is a global community of 13,000 members, more than 55 chapters, and 30 countries that educates and connects the world’s leading experts in investment strategy, financial analysis, and market analysis.
