Charter Realty & Development Corp is leasing retail space at 600 11th Ave. between 44th and 45th Sts. This project, which is currently under construction, will consist of over 1,250 residential units and 15,000 s/f of retail space. The building is being developed by Gotham Organization. This prime retail location would be perfect for an upscale supermarket or retail store. The retail section has 10,200 s/f (16' ceiling height) on the ground floor with full frontage on 11th Ave. spanning 44th and 45th Sts. The unit also has 5,000 s/f of basement space (11½' ceiling height) with venting already built in.
600 11th Ave. has over 80,000 people in the trade area and is underserved from a grocery and retail perspective. The average household income in the trade area is over $120,000. Occupancy of the retail space will be available in 2013.
