Ci Design promotes Ladd and Khazadian

Boston, MA Ci Design, a leading architecture firm for science and technology, industrial, mixed use, and multi-family facilities, transitioned into 2021 with the promotion of Christopher Ladd, AIA, NCARB to managing principal, science & technology, and Raffe Khazadian, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP O+M, CDT to director of life science.

“I’m pleased to announce the well-deserved promotions of Chris and Raffe,” said Ci president John Larsen, AIA, NCARB. “Chris has been integral to growing the firm’s S&T practice over the years, and Raffe’s expertise with life science projects has led to many successful projects,”

As one of the founders of Ci Design in 2009, Ladd has managed a diverse range of projects, from 50,000 s/f research and development facilities to 20 million s/f mixed use complexes. In his role as vice president / managing principal, science & technology, he will oversee the science and technology practice group and serve as an executive advisor for the S&T team’s projects.

Khazadian has extensive expertise providing architectural design services for the life science, pharmaceutical, and tech industries. As principal and director of life science, he will focus on overseeing the design of all life science laboratories, clean rooms, vivariums, and life science-driven medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.
