Clarion Partners selects KeyPoint Partners to manage Brookside Shops

Acton, MA Clarion Partners, LLC has selected KeyPoint Partners, LLC (KPP) as the property manager for Brookside Shops, according to William Lawler, partner/director of property & asset management of the firm. Clarion Partners recently purchased the center on behalf of a separate account client of the firm.

Brookside Shops - Acton, MA

Brookside Shops is a 97,000 s/f lifestyle center on Great Rd. (Rte. 2A). Tenants at the center include Trader Joe’s, Talbots, Eastern Mountain Sports, Elizabeth Grady, Pier One Imports, and Staples.

Representatives of Clarion Partners and KeyPoint Partners met with the Acton Planning Board, to introduce themselves as the new owner and manager of the property, and to further expand their understanding of the Acton community and Brookside Shops’ place in it.

 “We want to ensure that Brookside Shops continues to be a vibrant center for the community of Acton and the surrounding towns” said Lauren Holden. Senior vice president and asset manager at Clarion Partners.  “We’re actively seeking a quality café or restaurant to add, providing the local resident a place to sit, eat and relax at Brookside Shops.”

 “We’re very comfortable awarding this assignment to KeyPoint Partners, a local company with a wealth of retail experience and insight, and strong ties to the area,” Holden said. KeyPoint Partners, located in Burlington, manages several properties in communities surrounding Acton, such as Concord, Lexington, and Stow.

“Brookside Shops is a unique, high-quality property,” Lawler said. “We’re very pleased that Clarion Partners recognized that our considerable retail management expertise and experience are the right fit for their new asset.”
